Falling Water House Living Room

Most of the houses floor space is devoted to the stone paved living area with its various activity spaces. Finally the house grants easy access to the outdoors in creative ways including a staircase that takes visitors from the living room directly to the stream.

Fallingwater is constructed on three levels primarily of reinforced concrete native sandstone and glass. Americas most famous architect designed fallingwater for his clients the kaufmann family. The main house 5330 sqft and the guest house 1700 sqft.

It is centre around the fireplace cut into by a rock which brings the waterfall physically inside.
